OUR SERVICES

01.

PREVIS

[ Pre-visualization ]

Previs refers to the process of creating a rough, visual representation of a project by using 3D animations and real time technology to create entire sequences. It helps filmmakers, stunts, DPs plan and visualize complex scenes, sequences, and shots before actual production begins. Previs enables directors and other stakeholders to make informed decisions about camera angles, character movements, and overall visual storytelling.

02.

POSTVIS

[ Post-visualization ]

Postvis is the process of creating temporary visual effects or CG elements that are added to footage during the post-production stage. These temporary visual effects are used to provide a sense of how the final shots will look, allowing filmmakers to make creative decisions and plan for the integration of visual effects elements with live-action footage. Postvis often serves as a bridge between pre-production and the final visual effects, helping the director, editors and the visual effects team understand how the shots will come together in the final edit.

03.

TECHVIS

[ Technical Visualization ]

Techvis involves creating detailed technical visualizations and diagrams for complex sequences or shots. It helps in planning the technical aspects of visual effects, stunts, camera movements, lens choices, virtual set layouts and more. Techvis aids in coordinating the efforts of the production crew, camera department, and visual effects teams, ensuring that all elements align seamlessly during filming and post-production.

04.

LAYOUT

Layout is the process of placing virtual cameras, characters, and other assets in a 3D environment for animation or visual effects purposes. It involves blocking out the scenes and camera movements based on the previs or storyboards. Layout artists ensure that all the elements are properly positioned and timed to facilitate the animation and VFX process smoothly.

05.

COMPOSITION

Composition in visual effects refers to the art of combining multiple elements, such as live-action footage, computer-generated imagery (CGI), matte paintings, and visual effects, into a cohesive and believable final image. The composition involves adjusting lighting, color grading, and integrating various elements to create a seamless and visually stunning result that blends with the live-action footage.

06.

DIRECTING

Directing involves overseeing all aspects of film production, including visual effects. The director is responsible for guiding the creative vision and ensuring that the story is effectively conveyed to the audience. In the context of visual effects, the director collaborates closely with the VFX team to achieve the desired feel of the storytelling.

RAPID DEPLOYMENT

The system can be set up and the performer calibrated, ready for motion capture recording, in just under an hour, depending on the complexity of the session.

SMALL FOOTPRINT

Requiring only a table and mains power, the system has a minimal footprint on set and can be effortlessly moved between locations for maximum flexibility.

LONG RANGE

With a clear line of sight, the system can cover distances of up to 80 meters from the receiver, providing a large capture volume and allowing operators to position themselves discreetly out of the way.

COSTUME

Additional costume can be worn over the system enabling more accurate capture where costume affects the characters movement. This also enables the use of “normal” clothing for modesty concerns, safety or warmth, when capturing stunts or in the outdoors.

FAST TURN AROUND

Specialized software processing can speed up the data delivery on performer scale FK skeleton.

REFERENCE CAPTURE

Once set up, the system can be used to capture reference footage just like video, but with the added advantage of having the data ready to retarget onto a character and seamlessly integrate into a scene or shot.

RAPID PROTOTYPE OF IDEAS

Multiple variations of an action or scene can be captured, and batch processed allowing rapid prototyping and idea generation.
